All our chicken is sourced through producers certified by the RSPCA Approved Farming Scheme in Australia and SPCA Certified in New Zealand, which focus on improving the lives of farm animals. These chickens experience quality lighting periods, perches, dry litter floor covering and more space to move than legally required.

Producers certified by RSPCA Approved and SPCA Certified not only conform to animal welfare standards that go well beyond what is legally required based on the best available science, RSPCA and SPCA policies and industry leading practices. They also take part in regular on-farm assessments conducted by specially trained assessors. These assessments are rigorous and stringent, focusing solely on the animal's welfare. On top of this, the schemes have strict traceability requirements, meaning that products can be traced from point of sale through to the farm.
